Tropical Pond & Garden

Welcome to Tropical Pond & Garden!

Tropical Pond & Garden is a site dedicated to aquatic ponds and everything that goes into building, growing, and maintaining those water gardens.  In the past we used to sell  cannas, waterlilies, irises, marginals, other pond-friendly plants, and equipment from our farm in Florida.  Since shutting down the farm in 2010, this site is now dedicated as a resource to those building their own tropical ponds and suggestions for appropriate plants.

This site is run by volunteers and is solely support by the banner ads displayed to the right and below. This helps cover the cost of keeping the site live.  We encourage open dialog in the comments and forum section of the site and hope that garden pond lovers will ask and answer each others questions.  Please feel free to share your experiences, ask questions, and give answers.

Although we no longer sell plants and pond supplies, we have left our pictures and descriptions of what we used to sell.  Hopefully these aquatic plant pictures and descriptions will help give you pond creationists ideas in creating your perfect pond!
